How often should I clean and service the air conditioning system?

In accordance with the standards in force in EU, air conditioning systems should be cleaned, serviced and disinfected at least once a year, but not less frequently than in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions specified in the technical and operational documentation.
Currently, most manufacturers recommend performing the service twice a year.
This requirement is often a condition of an effective warranty granted by the manufacturer of air-conditioning equipment, currently reaching even 5 years.

How do we carry out air conditioning service?
The service is carried out strictly according to legal acts relating to the so-called f-gases and manufacturer’s recommendations and consists of the following:
– checking technical documentation
– checking compliance of the implementation with the technical documentation
– visual check for no damage to the installation
– checking the condition of safety valves
– recovery and replenishment of the refrigerant in the installation
– filter cleaning or replacement
– oil refill
– installation repairs, including brazing
– checking for leaks with and without opening the system
– checking the correct operation of the refrigeration system
– cleaning and disinfecting the installation in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
– issuing a service card

We have qualification certificates from the Polish Association of Electrical Engineers (SEP) for the operation of devices, systems and networks as well as the F-GAS certificate from the Office for Technical Inspection (UDT) for personnel and companies.
